The ALFI NextGen initiative was borne out of the need to make the Luxembourg fund industry more attractive to younger professionals and aspiring leaders. Nextgeners in Luxembourg have shown interest in participating in key developments and decision-making processes of the fund industry, underlying their will to have a more active role in the industry rather than remaining passive. ALFI wants to give these young professionals a voice by carrying out content projects, workshops and events around key topics that matter to them and have or will have an impact on the fund industry. This event offers a unique opportunity for junior fund professionals and finance students to connect, network and learn from senior industry leaders.

One senior professional representative per sponsor:
- Senior experts will play an active and important role in the debate during the event. He or she will be seated at an assigned roundtable and will co-moderate the exchanges with the young professionals together with a NextGen facilitator from our Committee
- During the cocktail reception, the seniors will be able to mingle and further exchange with the young talents
The following criteria applies for senior candidates:
- Expert in the field of Luxembourg investment funds, ideally member of an ALFI working group or involved in other ALFI activities;
- Experience and at ease with moderating. Good communicator, listening skills and giving a voice to each person at the table;
- Available to attend the full event, present at the cocktail afterwards to further exchange and network.
Maximum two young professionals per sponsor:
- Aged under 35 with a maximum of 10 years of experience in the financial industry
