Michel Nies is a Senior Global Economist at Citi Research, focusing on the Euro Area, the United Kingdom and selected Emerging Markets. Prior to joining Citi in 2016, Michel worked as a Macroeconomic Analyst at the EBRD from 2014 to 2016. Michel holds graduate degrees in Economics and Finance from the Barcelona School of Economics and the University of Amsterdam and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Management from the University of Strasbourg.
