ALFI seminar on AML/CFT compliance

Gérard Lorent is Conducting Officer, Head of Compliance and MLRO at Pictet Asset Management (Europe) S.A. where he has been working since August 2020. PAMESA is a CSSF licensed IFM for UCITS, AIFM (all asset classes) and MiFID activities with 6 branches in Europe. Gérard is responsible for PAMESA’s Compliance Function, acts as Money Laundering Reporting Officer and provides advice on all regulatory aspects of Luxembourg UCITS and AIFs.

Prior to joining PAMESA, Gérard worked for another Swiss Management Company most recently focusing on operational and oversight functions. He has also worked with Deloitte for 9 years focusing on financial regulatory matters and TOM. Prior to that, Gérard has worked 10 years for a top 5 French asset servicers as regulatory, product specialist and legal fund engineering.

Gérard holds a master in Business Administration, specialized in Finance-banking-insurance, from the University of Liège. He speaks fluent French, English and Spanish.
