Laura Zahren is a Tax Director for Alternative Investments at BDO Luxembourg, which she joined in November 2025. She spent 13 years with KPMG Luxembourg, where she began her international tax career after working for the German tax administration. Laura specializes in fund structuring and cross-border tax structuring and reorganizations across real estate, infrastructure, private equity, and debt investments. She is actively engaged in promoting Luxembourg as a leading fund jurisdiction and regularly shares insights on tax and regulatory trends in the DACH region and beyond. She sees tax as a catalyst that connects expertise, innovation, and people to shape the future of Luxembourg’s alternative investment market.
