Jennifer is an Audit Senior Manager in Grant Thornton’s Financial Services practice based in New York City.
Experience
Jennifer specializes in audit engagements for digital asset companies, private equity funds, hedge funds and management companies. She has over 15 years of accounting and audit experience for both SEC and private company audit clients where she performed Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing and walkthroughs, including use of control matrices and process narratives. Jennifer has experience working with digital asset clients that operate as an institutional trading and clearing platform, list and clear swaps and options on digital currencies, and leverages the latest technologies including mobile distributions. She also routinely provides firm-wide trainings for teams working with clients in the cryptocurrency space.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Jennifer is a New York State licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) where she is a part of the AICPA’s Digital Assets Working Group. The Working Group is actively involved in the digital asset and blockchain space, developing resources for practitioners, such as accounting and auditing guidance.

Jennifer graduated from C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Magna Cum Laude (B.S.) and an AACSB International Accredited Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)
