Rakesh Patel is a Managing Director in the Client Solutions Group within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, leading the fund formation team within Alternatives Capital Formation. In this role, he works with clients, product teams and sales teams on execution of client mandates and his responsibilities include structuring direct investment funds and bespoke mandates.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Rakesh worked at KKR, where he handled legal and compliance matters for its Private Markets segment. Before that, he worked within Citigroup's alternatives investment management business.
