Cyril Schopfer is Managing Director, Head of CACEIS US. Responsible for leading new products and service growth in the US market.
With more than 24 years in the financial industry, he has vast experience across numerous product types and asset classes. He is skilled at combining industry, product and regulatory knowledge, providing clients with tailored advice, insights and solutions. More recently he supported some of the most dynamic and innovative managers’ launch of new products designed to access mass-affluent and High-Net-Worth (HNW) investors in Europe and beyond.
Cyril transitioned to CACEIS on July 3, 2023 when CACEIS acquired the Royal Bank of Canada Investor Services European activity. Cyril worked for Royal Bank of Canada for eleven years. Prior to that he worked in London for some of the largest banks including Citigroup and Deutsche Bank. Notably Cyril also held the position of Head of the Fund Trading Desk at Swisscanto Funds Centre for six years, where he contributed to developing a high volume fund-trading platform. Cyril started his career in the Private Banking Division of Credit Suisse in Switzerland.
