John (“Jack”) Ehlers is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Swissquote Bank Europe. Before joining Swissquote, Jack was COO at Bitstamp one of the world’s longest running and regulated centralized exchanges for digital assets. In the early days of the crypto industry, he joined Bitnet a start-up seeking to turn Bitcoin into an acceptable payment method for online transactions. Jack brings more than 14-years of executive leadership and board experience across banking, electronic money and payment institutions. His professional career includes roles at PPRO, Alipay and PayPal. He lives and works in Luxembourg.
