Milan is part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Private Equity team . He specialises in fund formation and capital raising, with experience in fund financing. Milan heads Ogier's German Desk and advises clients from the DACH region on all Luxembourg law matters relating to investment funds.
Milan advises clients on all matters related to Luxembourg investment funds, across a wide range of regulatory matters, including on digital assets.
He focuses on setting up regulated and unregulated alternative investment funds investing in asset classes including real estate, private equity and debt. He assists clients with contemplated investments in Luxembourg funds and has expertise in fund financing on both the lender and borrower side.
Before joining Ogier, Milan was part of the investment management team of an international law firm in Luxembourg where he worked on set-ups of major alternative investment funds and advised financial institutions on fund financings.
He was also seconded to the regulatory / funds team of a major international law firm in Frankfurt / Main (Germany), allowing him to further strengthen his connections in the DACH region. As a German-qualified lawyer (Rechtsanwalt, non-practising), Milan passed the First State Exam at the University of Würzburg (Germany).
He gained further experience during his legal clerkship, which he concluded with the Second State Exam. This led to him working for a London based international law firm in Frankfurt/Main (Germany) and, subsequently a major business law firm in Strasbourg (France).
He is fluent in German, English and French.
