ALFI roadshows are free seminars in major financial centres around the world that target professionals across the entire asset management and investment fund value chain. They combine two key goals: updating local investment fund communities on the latest developments in the European and Luxembourg fund markets, and providing a forum to network and explore opportunities for increased cooperation, helping to attract new business and to provide Luxembourg funds with better access to markets abroad.
It's a match! The Nordics with their no-nonsense, forward-looking approach fit neatly into the ALFI travel schedule. In the case of Luxembourg, much of its fund sector's success is due to a display of vision and pioneer spirit: from UCITS to private asset investments, being a first mover has often paid off for the Grand Duchy which can lean on innovation, agility and a policy of short distances – both literally and metaphorically speaking.
