ALFI Roadshow to Scandinavia

Bjørn has more than 35 years of experience from the financial markets. For most of his career, Bjørn has worked for Nordea. He started up the Markets Department in Oslo, then in the same department in Luxembourg. After returning to Oslo he was appointed Head of Fixed income sales in Markets. He then joined the Asset Management arm of the Group, first in the Fund company. Later he took on the job as Chief Investment Officer in Nordea Private Banking, then joined Nordea Asset Management as Senior client manager and Head of institutional sales. From 2014 to 2019 he sat at the board at NORSIF, Norwegian Forum for Sustainable Investments, the last three years as chairman. Bjørn has also served in the ESG committee in the Norwegian Fund and Asset Management Association, VFF.

For the last 3 years, Bjørn has been responsible within Nordea Asset Management for all client segments in the Nordea Bank channel in Finland and Norway, working with the full breadth of investment products and offerings from AM hubs in Luxembourg, Copenhagen and Bergen.Bjørn holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University in Bergen and has completed studies in advanced studies of portfolio management at Norges Handelshøyskole.
