ALFI Roadshow to Scandinavia

Magdalena Håkansson is the Head of ESG at Första AP-fonden (AP1). At AP1, Magdalena oversees the implementation of AP1’s ESG strategy covering ESG integration and stewardship activities across asset classes. She also sits on the Council on Ethics of the Swedish AP Funds where she currently serves as the Chairperson. Prior to joining Första AP-fonden in 2019, Magdalena spent two decades in the financial industry of which the last +15 years specifically focused on sustainability. Most recently at MSCI ESG Research, she advised institutional clients on ESG integration and responsible investments. Prior to taking on that role, she held senior positions at the engagement service provider GES (which was subsequently acquired by Sustainalytics/Morningstar). Magdalena holds a Master's degree from Jönköping University.
