Zila is a financial crimes, payments and bank regulatory lawyer with over a decade of experience advising global financial institutions, fintechs, and digital asset companies on complex regulatory, compliance and enforcement matters. Her practice sits at the intersection of anti-money laundering, sanctions, state and federal authorization and digital assets regulation. Zila has experience assisting financial institutions in identifying and addressing legal, supervisory and reputational issues in connection with transactions, government inquiries and internal investigations. Zila is also an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School, teaching a course in anti-money laundering. Before joining Linklaters, where she is now counsel, she worked at another large U.S. law firm and at Goldman Sachs.
