Salvatore Sberna serves as the Head of Alternative Investments at Azimut Investments S.A., the Luxembourg-based investment platform of Azimut Group, a global independent organization operating in the domains of asset management, wealth management, investment banking, and fintech, catering to private and corporate clients. As of December 2023, alternative investments exceed €8 billion in AuM, accounting for ca. 14% of the group's managed assets.

At Azimut, Salvatore leads the investment process for a diverse portfolio of funds, oversees the creation of a wide range of investment funds implementing various strategies, and supervises the international private markets business of Azimut Group. Additionally, he has significantly contributed to the expansion of the Alternative's platform, positioning Azimut as the European leader in the number of ELTIFs (20) launched since 2021.

Prior to joining Azimut, Salvatore gained experience at a leading Italian private equity firm. He commenced his career at a global investment bank and a consulting firm where he focused on private investments. Salvatore holds an MSc in Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and a BSc from Bocconi University.
