Marcus Vinicius Gonçalves is the Sales Head for US Offshore at Franklin Templeton, responsible for the US international client market. He is based in Miami, FL.
Marcus has joined Franklin Templeton in May 2000, when he opened the company’s first commercial office in Brazil and became responsible for developing and executing the business strategy. In 2004, he was transferred to Miami, Florida, where he served for nine years as Investment Channels Director for the Americas. In 2013, he returned to Brazil to lead the local operations, and in 2023 he relocated to Miami to oversee the US Offshore business. Before joining Franklin Templeton, Marcus was Head of Products at Sul América Investments and, prior to that, an Equity Portfolio Manager at Banco Bradesco, both located in São Paulo, Brazil. Marcus Vinicius holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a master’s degree in Economics from Insper. He is a registered representative with Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses, holds ANBIMA’s CPA-20 certification as well as the CGA designation. Mr. Gonçalves is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
