Cyril Schopfer is Country Managing Director, USA at CACEIS and is responsible for leading new products and service growth.
Having worked more than 25 years in the financial industry, he has vast experience across numerous product types and asset classes. Cyril is skilled at combining industry, product and regulatory knowledge, providing clients with tailored advice, insights and solutions. More recently, he has supported some of the most dynamic and innovative managers’ launch of new products designed to access mass-affluent and High-Net-Worth (HNW) investors in Europe and beyond.
Cyril transitioned to CACEIS on July 3, 2023 when CACEIS acquired the Royal Bank of Canada’s Investor Services European activity. He worked for Royal Bank of Canada for eleven years. Prior to that he worked in London for some of the biggest banks including Citigroup and Deutsche Bank. Notably, Cyril also held the position of Head of the Fund Trading Desk at Swisscanto Funds Centre for six years, where he contributed to developing a high volume fund-trading platform. He started his career in the Private Banking Division of Credit Suisse in Switzerland.
