Diego Kother is the Deputy Chief Legal Officer at AFP Capital, a Chilean Pension Fund Manager, where, among other responsibilities, he leads the team in charge of analyzing the legal side of investment opportunities, mostly in private investment funds in Chile and abroad. He has 8 years of experience (3 at a recognized local law firm and 5 at AFP Capital) working in financial matters and has experienced, from its very beginning, the evolution of the Chilean Pension Funds Managers directly investing in alternative assets abroad, as a consequence of a change in Regulation in 2018. He graduated from Law School at Universidad de Concepción and has an LL.M. Degree on International Law – Investments, Trade and Arbitration from Universität Heidelberg.
