Masayuki Ishibashi is one of Japan’s most successful and dynamic young partners in the cross-sectional areas of Investment Funds, Capital Markets and FinTech, focusing mainly on security token offerings (STOs) and leveraging his outstanding track record and deep knowledge of capital markets and financial regulatory practice. Masayuki has been involved in nearly all of the remarkable STO cases in Japan that publicly launched after the major amendments to the relevant laws in 2020, including two consecutive fund interest STOs by Tosei Asset Advisors (in 2021 and 2022; the first STO cases by a Japanese entity conducting overseas offerings that is listed on a foreign digital security market). He is also actively advising on cryptocurrency-related businesses and payment services.
