Kohei Muto is the Founder and CEO of Double Feather Partners (DFP), headquartered in Japan, with subsidiaries in Rwanda and Luxembourg.
DFP provides advisory services to global corporations, governments, and international organizations on tech engagements in Africa. DFP has also accelerated more than 70 African tech firms and made multiple direct investments in African start ups, mainly in mobility, logistic, agritech, fintech sectors.
DFP is currently preparing to establish an Africa-focused VC fund (Africa Innovation Fund SCSp) together with IQEQ and Arendt in Luxembourg to further invest in African early-stage companies to capture its unique macroeconomic growth for the next decades. DFP has recently established its GP entity (DFP GP S.à.r.l) in Luxembourg and signed a strategic partnership MOU with Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHOFT) to collaborate on financial inclusion in African and Asia.
