Jean-François Fortemps has more than 30 years of experience in finance. He is currently Managing Director of MUFG Lux Management S.A. the UCITS and AIFMD Management Company of Mitsubishi UFG Financial Group in Luxembourg. Jean-Francois is Chairman or Member of the Board of Directors for numerous Funds in Luxembourg. He has created and acted as Chief Executive Officer for more than 7 years of Fortis Investment Management Luxembourg S.A., a UCITS Management Company before joining BNP Paribas Investment Partners in Luxembourg. He has also been a Member of the Board of Directors of Fortis Investment Management Luxembourg S.A. and of Ökoworld Lux S.A. Prior to this, Jean-François acted as Chief Economist and Chief Investment Officer within Banque Generale du Luxembourg.
Jean-François Fortemps has a B.A. in Economic Science from the University of Liège. He started his carrier as assistant lecturer at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve. He is a regularly intervening for the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne (France), for the University of Sherbrooke (Québec, Canada) and he is lecturer at Luxembourg House of Training, the Government agency for the transfer of Financial Technology.
