Simon is specialized in international taxation, cross-border tax planning and reorganizations. Simon is part of the tax Alternative Investments team which areas of expertise include Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Debt funds, Group restructuring, Holding and Finance companies, restructuring projects involving the Luxembourg entities of multinational groups. His experience encompasses advisory for funds and multinational enterprises on cross-border tax planning solutions, coordination with clients and foreign tax advisers as well as lawyers and trust companies and conduction of direct tax due diligence. His professional experience includes the set up of tax efficiently structured finance operations for investment funds. He gives regular trainings at the House of Trainings (Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce). Qualifications: Master’s degree in european and international tax law (University of Liège, Belgium), Master in business law (University of Liège, Belgium), Diploma in Luxembourg taxation.
