ALFI Roadshow to Amsterdam

Gwen joined UBS Global Asset Management’s Global Real Estate business in August 2010 as Director Tax. In this role, she was responsible to provide tax risk management, overall tax planning and tax advise for the UBS (indirect) Real Estate funds (mainly the Fund of Funds platform and the GPF).

As per May 2015 she was appointed Head of Tax for Europe; since 2021 she is heading the global REPM Tax team. In this role, she is responsible to provide tax risk management, overall tax planning and tax advise for the UBS’s Real Estate and Private Market platform globally (both on the direct and the indirect real estate fund side).

Prior to joining UBS, Gwen worked for Deloitte’s real estate tax team mostly on pan-European real estate funds as tax consultant in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (until 2007). After that she spent almost 2 years (March 2008-December 2009) at Deloitte’s office in Zürich working in their international tax team, with main focus on the financial services industry.

Gwen has very extensive professional experience in the field of corporate income taxation, international tax structuring and M&A tax especially with respect to real estate and private market funds.
