Thekla is Manager Ethics & Sustainability at Steyler Ethik Bank, the only missionary bank in Europe and Germany’s oldest ethical bank. Owned by the Steyler Mission, the bank combines financial services with a strong commitment to ethical and sustainable investing and directs all profits to worldwide social projects.
Within the bank, she focuses on sustainability and investment products. Her responsibilities include the review and management of potential assets under management and the further development of the bank’s investment criteria. She is also responsible for the Ethics Committee and develops educational formats such as the Responsible Finance Academy and webinars on sustainable and ethical (finance) topics.
