Martin has more than two decades’ experience in conceptualising and leading on environmental investments with a particular focus on natural capital and carbon finance in the private and public sectors. Martin is Chief Executive Officer of Climate Asset Management, an asset management firm dedicated to natural capital and a joint venture between HSBC Global Asset Management and Pollination, a global investment and advisory firm focused on climate and nature. Before joining Climate Asset Management, Martin was head of Environmental Fund & Climate Finance Policy at the European Investment Bank (EIB) leading pioneering investments in natural capital. He was also lead of the carbon origination team of Merrill Lynch, RNK Capital, OECD and UNFCCC. At the EIB, Martin built and managed a global portfolio of natural capital and carbon finance transactions.
