Melanie is a senior legal advisor to the Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, where she supports the fund’s objectives by providing legal guidance on transactions across private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and public markets. She advises investment teams on structuring, due diligence, and negotiation of investment documents across local and foreign jurisdictions.
Prior to her role, she was a senior associate at Arendt & Medernach where specialized in regulated investment funds, including UCITS and alternative investment funds, advising global institutional investors on regulatory, corporate, and organizational aspects of fund formation and restructuring, with a focus on ESG strategies. During her tenure, she was seconded at the European Investment Fund where she supported the legal and investment teams in structuring clean energy transactions.
Melanie holds Master’s degrees in International Business Law (Université de Lorraine) and Management and Finance (I.C.N. Business School). She was a member of the Luxembourg Bar (Avocat à la Cour) until 2020.
