Private debt remains a cornerstone of private markets, fueled by investor demand for yield and diversification, as well as rising credit demand from SMEs. Meanwhile, regulartory shifts under AIFMD II -- including leverage limits and operational requirements -- are reshaping the landscape for loan-originating funds, presenting both challenges and opportunities for managers and investors.
