Vijay Sankaran is a technology executive with a track record of successfully leading strategy and implementation of software solutions involving Al, advanced analytics, data warehousing, and data visualization. As Managing Director for Artificial lntelligence at State Street, Vijay is involved in co-creating solutions that are deployed across the Bank's processes to drive down operating costs and financial risks while improving client experience. He is also responsible for the technical architecture and delivery of a new Al Platform and its adoption across State Street. Previously he led Cognitive Solutions at IBM and was founder of three startups that addressed financial services and high-tech industries. Vijay holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
