Responsible for formulating the house view on China and other major emerging market economies. He joined Schroders in 2020 and is based in London.
David was previously Emerging Market Strategist at J Safra Sarasin 2018 to 2020, Senior Emerging Markets Economist at Huawei Technologies from 2017 to 2018 and worked as an Economist covering Emerging Markets at Capital Economics from 2006 to 2017.
BSc in Biology from Leeds University; MSc in Finance from Leeds Beckett University; MSc in Economic Management and Policy from Strathclyde University.
