Dr. Martin Moryson is Global Head of Economics at DWS. He is responsible for the DWS Group's economic analyses and forecasts.
After studying economics at Kiel University, Dr. Moryson worked as a research assistant at Humboldt-University Berlin between 1993 and 1997. Following his doctorate, he worked for several years at the German Council of Economic Experts (Sachverständigenrat zur Begutachtung der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Entwicklung) under the super-vision of Jens Weidmann.
In 2001 he joined Feri Institutional Management, where he advised major institutional investors on strategic asset allocation and asset liability management. After further professional positions, he was Chief Economist of Sal. Oppenheim from 2012 to 2018.
Dr. Martin Moryson has been a member of the Board of the Human Rights Foundation (Stiftung Menschenrechte) since 2003. He is married and has three children.
