Oliver O’Bryan is the Senior Sustainability Office Lead in the Sustainability team at Partners Group, based in Zug. Oliver is responsible for the firm wide sustainability strategy, regulatory adherence, data infrastructure, and overall operationalization of sustainability across the firm globally. Prior to joining Partners Group, he worked for PwC and Goldman Sachs Bank. He holds a bachelor's in International Business from Loughborough University, UK and is completing his Masters of Sustainability Leadership at Cambridge University, UK.
ESG reporting requirements and standards continue to rapidly evolve. The scope of application of these requirements and standards also continues to evolve, applying to an increasing number of entities and often extending beyond climate to take into account broader sustainability disclosures. CSRD is the first legal driver to gather high quality sustainability performance data for companies by making it a mandatory disclosure requirement which investors can rely on for their investment decision making. SFDR reporting is already adopted but may be amended depending on the outcome of the SFDR consultation, thereby creating significant uncertainty.
