Andrew Owen is head of Global Fund Governance at Allspring Global Investments. In this role, he is responsible for leading fund governance for the Allspring Funds Management, LLC, and Allspring Global Investments Luxembourg S.A. fund boards.
Andrew joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). He has been with Allspring or one of its predecessors since 1992, serving in various roles, including controller, portfolio manager, and head of product and investments. Most recently, he was co-president of Galliard Capital Management LLC, in addition to his Allspring Funds Management, LLC, governance responsibilities.
Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a member of CFA Institute.
