Lisa Backes is Deputy CEO / Member of the Management Board of Hauck & Aufhäuser Funds Services S.A. (HAFS) in Luxembourg, with over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. She has in-depth expertise in the Luxembourg and international fund sectors, particularly in regulatory framework, investment fund structures and corporate governance.

In her role at HAFS, Lisa is responsible for compliance, risk management and ESG. She also serves on the Board of HAL Fund Services Ireland Ltd. (HALFI), the Irish subsidiary of HAFS and is co-chair of the ALFI Technical Committee Investment Fund Management.

Throughout her career, she held executive roles in internationally active companies, combining broad industry insight with strong leadership across multicultural and regulated environments.
