Helios has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He recently joined Royalton Partners in April 2023 as head of the Risk Department and Conducting Officer in charge of Risk.
Prior to joining Royalton Partners, Helios held various leadership positions, including Conducting Officer and Head of Risk in prominent financial institutions including banks, management companies and asset management entities.
Helios embarked on his career as an economist at the Mexican National Trade Bank and later served as Senior Commodity Strategist at BNP Paribas/Fortis Bank in Brussels and New York. In 2010, he established himself in Luxembourg, assuming the responsibility of Risk Management for Investment Funds.
Helios has a PhD in Economics from the University of Ljubljana, an MA in Risk Management from NYU Stern Business School, an MA in Economics from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a BA in International Relations from UDLAP Mexico.
Currently pursuing an MBA at the Luxembourg School of Business and an Advanced Management Program focusing on AI from the MIT Sloan Business School.
