Revamping ALFI events for greater impact

ALFI roadshows are evolving with a new events model designed to deliver more impact, greater value, and better business opportunities.

Every year, ALFI roadshows take Luxembourg’s expertise to key markets across Europe and beyond.

They provide a platform for members to connect with peers and decision-makers. It’s where conversations evolve into business opportunities.

To keep this impact strong, we are refreshing our model.

Starting with the London Conference in October, Luxembourg-based participants will be asked to pay a registration fee, unless their company is sponsoring the event.

This change has two main goals:

First, to keep the right balance in the room: about 70% local professionals, and no more than 30% from Luxembourg – in line with our members’ requests for greater value from attending events abroad.

Second, to deliver high-quality content in a sustainable way. With at least 30% asset managers or GPs in the mix, discussions will stay relevant and business-focused.

We will start hosting roadshows at member venues, to reinforce the sense of community while containing rising costs. In smaller spaces, it becomes even more important to ensure that the right people are in the room.

Our members’ special rates for sponsorship packages and event tickets are only one of the many benefits they can enjoy. Most importantly, they can be part of technical committees, to share their expertise, and help drive our industry forward.

The changes we implement today are designed to strengthen our community, and ensure Luxembourg remains competitive on the global stage.
