Corporate social responsibility (CSR) plays a key role at ALFI, constituting an integral part of the association’s culture and global strategy. ALFI represents the interests of a financial industry worth over EUR 5,000 billion.
Providing that our ambition is to further enhance Luxembourg’s position as the international fund centre of reference, recognised as open, reliable and innovative by investors, policymakers and industry alike, ALFI is greatly committed to ensuring the highest industry standards.
In 2014, ALFI joined the community of socially responsible organisations in Luxembourg by receiving the CSR label delivered by the National Institute for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (INDR). The label has been recently extended as of 28 September 2023 in recognition of ALFI’s engagement to corporate social responsibility and to the multiple initiatives supporting the sustainable development of Luxembourg.
ALFI actively supports sustainable development which we believe can only be achieved through an all-encompassing commitment to financial, social and environmental matters.
ALFI’s CSR policy is based on three pillars:
- Commitment to the highest industry standards,
- Active involvement of our members in everything we do, and
- Exemplary internal management.
