ALFI responds to the IOSCO consultation report on policy recommendations for crypto and digital asset markets

On 23 May 2023, the IOSCO issued a Consultation Report on Policy Recommendations for Crypto and Digital Asset Markets.

This consultation reports document aims at aligning the requirements on crypto and digital assets trading and custody with those already in place for the traditional financial markets globally. The 18 recommendations apply mainly to the CASPs (crypto assets service providers). The consultation includes a list of 21 questions, covering the different activities performed by the CASPs across the crypto and digital assets investments lifecycle.
