ALFI responds to ESMA’s call for evidence on retail investor protection aspects

On 17 December 2021, ALFI responded to ESMA’s call for evidence on retail investor protection aspects. The consultation covers a number of retail investor protection topics under MiFID II, such as inconsistencies across investor protection legislation on disclosures, how regulatory disclosures and communications can work best for consumers in the digital age and assessments of risks and opportunities regarding digital tools and channels.
