ALFI appoints Corinne Lamesch as Deputy CEO and General Counsel

Ms. Lamesch has more than 25 years of experience in the Luxembourg fund industry. She began her career in Luxembourg in 1998 as a lawyer with A&O Shearman and Clifford Chance.  Prior to joining ALFI, Ms. Lamesch worked for Fidelity International for 16 years. She was Conducting Officer of Fidelity International’s Luxembourg-based management company from 2015 and was appointed Luxembourg Country Head at Fidelity International in 2017.

Ms. Lamesch has also been deeply committed to ALFI for many years, actively contributing to various technical committees and working groups. She has been an ALFI Board member since 2017 and was Chairperson of the ALFI Board from June 2019 to June 2023. Ms. Lamesch played a key role in the conception and launch of the Luxembourg Women in Finance Charter in March 2023, which aims to improve gender diversity within Luxembourg’s financial centre.

Ms. Lamesch holds two Master’s degrees in Law: one from the University of Strasbourg and one from the New York University School of Law. She was admitted as a lawyer to both the Luxembourg Bar and to the New York Bar.

Her extensive professional experience in the asset management business both in Luxembourg and internationally, her solid legal expertise and her continued dedication to the growth of Luxembourg's fund industry, made Ms. Lamesch the ideal candidate for this role.
