Today, the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) kicks off its very first 5-day digital conference, dedicated to the European asset management industry and to global distribution trends. This event is an opportunity for fund industry professionals to finally “gather” after a long period of time. Virtually, of course.
On the menu: initiatives by the Luxembourg government and authorities, virtual discussions, “to the point” live sessions, top-notch experts’ chats and even networking. All with extended remote access to the recording(s) of the booked sessions.
Corinne Lamesch, the ALFI Chairperson, comments: “ALFI has been adopting different ways to connect and embraces the new post COVID-19 “Normal”. We are pleased to launch this novel virtual concept for our conferences at a time where digital transformation and innovation is high on the agenda of our members. We hope that our members, participants and sponsors will like this fresh change.”
Chris Edge, the Chairman of the Conference Committee, adds: “We are proud of our ALFI Rentree agenda, which offers very high quality content from senior industry leaders. We cover a wide range of topics from impact of COVID-19, C-Suite interviews, the UK/EU relationship post December, ESG and impact investing, distribution trends, and technology transformation. In particular we are delighted H.E Pierre Gramegna, Luxembourg Minister of Finance, will join us “live”, and that both the CSSF Director General Claude Marx and Marco Zwick, Director, will share their insights on the future of the industry. We look forward to once again engaging with our community.”
