Since the lockdown in March 2020, the association has had to adapt to the new situation and find appropriate ways to remain close to its members and expert audiences exclusively through digital channels, be it for its events, promotional campaigns or press meetings.
The most obvious and direct hit affected the organisation of ALFI events, which could no longer take place in a physical way. Over the past year, ALFI has delivered almost twenty virtual events on its dedicated platform developed to address the needs of the sponsors and the industry. At the time of writing, the virtual events are the only option to continue delivering high-quality content to the expert audience while providing a broad range of innovative features to ensure that our partners get the maximum visibility.
The ALFI online platform for virtual events offers both participants and sponsors a wide range of benefits, such as the possibility to reach a wide audience or to access the replay sessions for up to 4 weeks after the event. Another important feature is the possibility to view and click on the sponsors’ logos and get access to the exhibitors’ booths to consult the marketing material and enter in contact with the firms’ representatives. The participants can also connect with other attendees thanks to a dedicated networking space.
With over 30 years of experience in the organisation of events, ALFI conferences are undoubtedly one of the most popular gatherings to meet and greet fund industry professionals and peers. With Covid-19 restrictions, ALFI has not had the possibility to organise physical events, however, ALFI has done its utmost to explore all possibilities to bring high-level content to our attendees. This has also included complete post-conference reports available shortly after the specific event.
