Socially Responsible Investment Funds

The term “socially responsible investment” (SRI) describes an investment strategy which combines the intention to maximise both financial return and social good. Thus, SRIs are defined as combining financial and non-financial considerations when making an investment decision. The non-financial criteria considered are usually Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations, the objectives being to maximise the investor’s long term financial performance, in a sustainable way, while contributing to sustainable development.
