ALFI conferences in Luxembourg and abroad

Fund Professionals are kept abreast of the latest developments through our annual conferences and our topic-specific conferences. These conferences have an admission charge, but they also provide exposure for sponsors and exhibitors from the Industry.

The ALFI Spring Conference

The conference takes place in March and traditionally focuses on the investor (investor information, regulation, protection) with a Gala Dinner organised on the evening of the first day of the conference.

ALFI Responsible Investing Conference

The event usually takes place in May and is the first of its kind in Luxembourg and addresses all the dimensions of responsible investing. The aim of the conference is to further increase market attention and momentum around the concept of responsible investing.

ALFI Global Distribution Conference

The conference takes place in September and focuses on global distribution, regulatory updates, new products and tax implications.  It is organised in partnership with NICSA, The National Investment Company Service Association and with HKIFA, the Hong Kong Investment Fund Association. A Golf tournament for ALFI members and conference attendees is traditionally organized on the day preceding the conference.

The ALFI European Alternative Investment Funds Conference (EAIF)

takes place in November with panel discussions, stand-alone presentations and dedicated workshops on hedge funds, private equity funds and real estate funds, highlighting the latest news and trends in the alternative investment fund space.

Leading Edge Conferences

A series of topical, one-day conferences on current trends and developments, targeted at an expert audience. In 2012 ALFI organised a special series of Leading Edge Conferences that put the spotlight on each of the three alternative asset classes, Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge Funds, and how they will be impacted by the AIFMD.
